Now well established for their inspirational and brilliant performances, the Aurora Ensemble performs in many major venues and festivals including the Wigmore Hall, Manchester's Bridgewater Hall and Cardiff's St. David's Hall.
Born in Auckland, New Zealand, Victoria Simonsen moved to the UK to undertake postgraduate studies at the Royal Northern College of Music where she studied cello with Ralph Kirshbaum, graduating with distinction. Since then she has been in great demand both nationally and internationally as soloist and chamber musician.
